The PARKER 66CA-10-8 is a brass compression tube connector designed to join compression tubing to a female NPT threaded port. It features a 1/2-14 NPTF thread and provides a straight inline connection between a compression end and an FNPT end. Rated to 650 psi maximum working pressure, it handles a temperature range of -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid transfer lines in demanding trade environments. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters use this fitting where a reliable, leak-resistant mechanical connection to a female pipe thread is required.
This connector is used in residential and commercial applications where copper or other compression tubing must terminate at a female NPT threaded component such as a valve body, manifold, or instrument port. Typical installation scenarios include hydraulic lines, pneumatic control circuits, fuel lines, and water service connections. The brass construction resists corrosion and is compatible with a wide range of media, including water, air, oil, and many hydraulic fluids.
Designed as an OEM-style compression fitting for use with standard compression tubing terminating at a 1/2-14 NPTF female threaded port in fluid transfer, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or HVAC technicians. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before disconnecting or installing any compression fitting. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and that the compression sleeve seats properly before tightening the nut. Follow applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines and the fitting manufacturer instructions for proper assembly; do not overtighten, as this can deform the compression sleeve and compromise the seal.
