The PARKER 66C-2-2 is a brass compression tube connector designed to join a compression tube end to a female NPT port in fluid and pneumatic line assemblies. It provides a secure, leak-resistant connection rated to 400 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. The fitting uses a 1/8-27 NPTF thread on the female end and a standard SAE J-512 compression interface on the tube end. Machined from brass, it offers solid corrosion resistance in a wide range of media. This type of fitting is installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial pipefitters working on instrument lines, control tubing, and low-pressure fluid circuits.
This connector is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a compression tube must terminate at an FNPT port on a valve, manifold, gauge, or similar component. Typical use cases include refrigerant instrument lines, pneumatic control circuits, and hydraulic sensing lines operating within the rated pressure and temperature envelope. The SAE J-512 standard ensures dimensional conformance with other compliant compression components in the assembly.
Designed as an OEM-style compression-to-FNPT adapter fitting for use in instrument, pneumatic, and fluid tubing systems requiring a 1/8-27 NPTF female port connection per SAE J-512.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified pipefitters. Isolate and depressurize the line completely before removing any existing fittings or making new connections. Tighten compression fittings with appropriate tube wrenches to achieve a proper ferrule seat without over-torquing the brass body. Follow applicable IPC and system-manufacturer guidelines for thread sealant use on NPTF connections.
