The PARKER 63NTA-10 is a compression tube insert fitting manufactured from stainless steel. It is designed to be installed inside the end of a soft or semi-rigid tube to reinforce the tube wall at the compression fitting connection point, preventing collapse under tightening force and maintaining a leak-free seal. The 63NTA-10 accepts tubing with a 5/8 inch outside diameter and is rated for a maximum working pressure of 150 psi and a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F. It meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J1131, and SAE J246 standards. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-systems mechanics install this component as part of compression fitting assemblies in pneumatic, hydraulic, and fluid transfer lines.
The 63NTA-10 is suited for use in applications where tubing material requires internal support at compression joints, including brake line systems, fuel systems, and general fluid transfer assemblies operating within the rated pressure and temperature envelope. Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified fluid-systems technicians. Depressurize and drain the affected line completely before disassembly. The insert should be seated fully inside the tube end before the compression nut and ferrule are positioned. Do not overtighten the compression fitting nut, as this can damage the tube wall even with the insert in place.
