The PARKER 62PTCBH-10 is a brass push-to-connect bulkhead union fitting designed for tube-to-tube connections in air brake and general-purpose pneumatic systems. Rated to 250 psi with a working temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, this fitting accepts 5/8-inch OD tubing on both ends and installs without tools by pushing the tube directly into the fitting body. The nitrile O-ring seal provides reliable performance across the full temperature range. It meets DOT FMVSS 571.106, SAE J2494, SAE J2494-3, and SAE J844 standards, making it a code-compliant choice for air brake plumbing.
This fitting is used where a pneumatic or air brake line must pass through a panel, bulkhead, or chassis wall. The bulkhead body allows the fitting to be mounted in a drilled hole and secured from the reverse side, routing tubing cleanly between two compartments. Typical applications include commercial vehicle air brake systems, fleet maintenance, and general-purpose compressed-air plumbing where a DOT-rated tube-to-tube connection at a panel penetration is required.
Designed as a DOT-compliant push-to-connect bulkhead union for general-purpose and air brake pneumatic systems using 5/8-inch OD tubing.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed fleet mechanic or pneumatic systems technician. Before servicing any air brake line, depressurize the system completely and follow all applicable DOT and vehicle manufacturer service procedures. Ensure the bulkhead panel hole diameter matches the fitting body spec before mounting. Tube ends must be cut square and free of burrs before insertion to ensure a leak-free seal.
