The PARKER 62PTBH-4 is a brass compression tube bulkhead union designed to pass tubing through a panel, wall, or bulkhead while maintaining a secure, leak-resistant connection on both sides. Both ends accept standard compression fittings, allowing the technician to terminate tubing from either side of the partition without soldering or special tooling. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure and suited for temperatures from 0 degrees F to 150 degrees F, this fitting is appropriate for refrigeration, HVAC, and light pneumatic or fluid-handling lines where a clean panel penetration is required.
This bulkhead union is suited for residential and light commercial applications where tubing must pass through a cabinet wall, enclosure panel, or equipment chassis. Compression-to-compression end connections make it compatible with soft copper, aluminum, or compatible nylon and plastic tubing commonly found in HVAC refrigerant line sets, condensate systems, and low-pressure fluid circuits. Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or refrigeration mechanics during system assembly or service.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation compression bulkhead union for tubing applications requiring panel pass-through in HVAC, refrigeration, and light fluid-handling systems.
Power down or isolate the system and relieve all line pressure before removing or installing this fitting. Ensure the tubing end is cut square, deburred, and fully seated before tightening the compression nut. A two-wrench method is recommended to prevent fitting body rotation during makeup. Follow applicable codes, including IPC and IFGC provisions, for any fitting installed in a refrigerant or gas-adjacent fluid circuit.
