The PARKER 62PLP-5 is a push-to-connect union tube fitting designed for straight tube-to-tube connections in pneumatic and fluid transfer systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a nitrile O-ring seal, it handles up to 300 psi working pressure and a temperature range of 0 to 200 degrees F. The collet-style push-to-connect design allows fast, tool-free tube insertion and secure retention without ferrules or compression nuts. The release button is made from a black flame-resistant material rated to UL94 V-0, making it suitable for environments where ignition resistance is required. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation technicians install this fitting in air, water, and compatible fluid lines.
This union fitting is used in residential and light commercial applications where two tube runs of the same outside diameter must be joined in-line. Typical install scenarios include pneumatic control lines, compressed air distribution, low-pressure fluid circuits, and HVAC ancillary tubing. To disconnect, depress the release collar evenly and withdraw the tube; inspect the tube end for squareness and burrs before reinserting.
