The PARKER 62PLP-5/32-2 is a push-to-connect tube-to-tube fitting designed for joining two tubes with different outside diameters in a single inline connection. It accepts a 5/32-inch OD tube on one end and a 1/8-inch OD tube on the other, allowing a tool-free, leak-resistant connection rated to 300 psi. The body is nickel-plated brass, offering corrosion resistance in both wet and dry environments. The release button is black flame-resistant material that meets the UL94 V-0 flammability standard. This fitting is installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-system assemblers working with small-bore pneumatic or general-purpose tubing lines.
This fitting is suited for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid transfer applications where two small-bore tubes of differing OD must be connected inline. It is commonly installed in light commercial and industrial pneumatic control lines, instrumentation tubing, and similar low-to-medium pressure systems. Its push-to-connect design allows quick field assembly without tools, making it practical for service calls, OEM panel builds, and control-system repairs. The fitting meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J2494, SAE J2494-3, and SAE J844 standards.
Designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid transfer tubing applications requiring an inline push-to-connect reducer connection between 5/32-inch and 1/8-inch OD tubing.
Depressurize and de-energize the system completely before removing or installing any tube fitting. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs before inserting into either port. To disconnect, press the release collar fully before withdrawing the tube. Follow applicable pneumatic system codes and OEM guidelines for pressure rating and tubing material compatibility.
