The PARKER 62PLP-4-5/32 is a push-to-connect unequal union tube fitting designed to join two tubes of different outside diameters in a single inline connection. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a nitrile O-ring seal, it handles a maximum working pressure of 300 psi across a temperature range of 0 to 200 degrees F. The push-to-connect design allows for tool-free tube insertion, and the release button is made from a black, flame-resistant material rated to the UL94 V-0 standard. This fitting is well-suited for HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatic, and fluid-handling lines where a fast, reliable tube-to-tube transition between two different OD sizes is required.
This fitting is used wherever a 1/4 inch OD tube must be joined to a 5/32 inch OD tube without soldering, flaring, or compression hardware. It is commonly installed in residential and light commercial HVAC systems, pneumatic control circuits, and instrumentation tubing runs. The tool-free connection makes it practical for tight access locations and service applications where speed and reliability matter. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers of this fitting type.
Designed for use with 1/4 inch and 5/32 inch OD tubing in push-to-connect tube-to-tube plumbing, pneumatic, and HVAC control line applications.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or instrumentation technicians. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line before inserting or removing tubing. Ensure tube ends are cut cleanly and squarely and deburred before insertion to maintain a proper O-ring seal. To disconnect, depress the release button fully before pulling the tube free.
