The PARKER 62PLP-3 is a push-to-connect union tube fitting designed to join two tube runs without tools, threads, or soldering. Built from nickel-plated brass with a nitrile o-ring seal, it handles working pressures up to 300 psi and temperatures from 0 to 200 degrees F. The release button is made from black flame-resistant material rated to UL94 V-0, making it suitable for use in environments where flame-resistance compliance is required. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-system installers use this fitting for quick, reliable tube connections in pneumatic and fluid distribution lines.
The 62PLP-3 is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving 3/16 inch OD tubing. It is commonly installed in pneumatic control lines, low-pressure fluid systems, and instrument tubing runs where a fast, re-enterable union connection is preferred over a permanent swaged or soldered joint. The push-to-connect design allows a technician to insert tubing and achieve a secure, pressure-rated seal in seconds, and the release collar allows for tool-free disconnection when service or reconfiguration is needed.
Designed for use with 3/16 inch OD tubing in push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid distribution systems. Verify tubing material and system pressure rating before installation.
Installation is performed by cutting tubing squarely, deburring the end, and inserting it fully into the fitting until it seats against the internal stop. Depressurize and de-energize the system completely before disconnecting or reconfiguring any fittings. To release tubing, press and hold the release collar while withdrawing the tube. Follow applicable codes such as ASME B31.1 or manufacturer system guidelines for the specific fluid or pneumatic application.
