The PARKER 62NTA-12 is a brass compression tube union designed to join two compression-end tube lines in a single inline fitting. It provides a leak-resistant, vibration-tolerant connection suitable for hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-transfer lines operating at up to 150 psi. The fitting is rated for a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, making it appropriate for demanding underhood, industrial, and mobile-equipment environments. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and fluid-systems mechanics install this type of fitting when a permanent, rebuildable tube joint is required without welding or flaring.
This union is suited for residential and commercial applications where two compression-end tube runs must be coupled inline. Common install scenarios include hydraulic brake lines, fuel lines, refrigeration tubing, and pneumatic control circuits. The fitting meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J1131, and SAE J246 standards, making it an approved component for regulated automotive and mobile-equipment fluid systems. It is a single-piece, ready-to-install union packaged individually.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube union for medium-pressure fluid and pneumatic lines requiring SAE and D.O.T. compliant fittings.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or plumber familiar with compression fitting assembly. Depressurize and drain the line completely before removing or installing any fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the fitting body, then advance with a wrench per standard compression fitting practice — do not overtighten, as brass fittings are susceptible to thread damage. Verify for leaks at system operating pressure before returning the circuit to service.
