The PARKER 62NFBH-8 is a brass compression tube bulkhead union designed to pass tubing through a panel or bulkhead wall with a secure, leak-resistant seal on both sides. The fitting connects compression to compression on each end, making it suitable for routing hydraulic, pneumatic, or fluid lines through structural partitions without welding or threading the panel itself. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure and a temperature range of -40 to 200 degrees F, this union meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J1131, and SAE J246 standards. The brass construction resists corrosion and holds up in demanding fluid-handling environments. It is installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial piping mechanics working on systems that require a clean panel penetration.
This bulkhead union is used in applications where tubing must pass through a cabinet wall, chassis, or panel while maintaining a pressure-rated seal on each side of the barrier. The compression-to-compression configuration requires no flaring and allows tubing to be connected and disconnected without disturbing the panel installation. Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or hydraulic systems mechanic. Depressurize and isolate the affected line before disassembly or installation. Ensure the bulkhead panel hole is sized correctly and that both compression nuts and ferrules are fully seated before applying system pressure. Do not overtighten compression fittings; snug plus one-quarter to one-half turn past hand-tight is the general guidance for brass compression connections unless a specific value is provided by the system engineer.
