The PARKER 62NFBH-6 is a brass compression tube bulkhead union designed to route tubing through a panel, bulkhead, or wall while maintaining a secure, leak-resistant compression connection on both ends. With compression fittings on each side, it allows for tool-assisted tube insertion without requiring soldering or flaring. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure and built from brass, this fitting meets DOT FMVSS571.106, SAE J1131, and SAE J246 standards. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-system installers use this fitting where tubing must pass through a structural barrier and remain serviceable from either side.
This bulkhead union is suited for hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid transfer lines in both mobile and stationary applications where DOT and SAE compliance is required. The compression-by-compression end configuration accommodates tubing with a 0.217 inch inside diameter. Typical install scenarios include instrument panels, equipment enclosures, and vehicle fluid systems operating within the rated temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install fitting for compression tube systems requiring bulkhead passage, with a 0.217 inch inside diameter tubing bore and DOT and SAE compliance for mobile and industrial fluid line applications.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified fluid-system mechanics. Depressurize and drain the line completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Use appropriate compression sleeve and nut for the tubing size, and tighten to finger-tight plus the manufacturer-recommended turns per the fitting body markings — do not overtighten, as brass threads can be damaged by excessive torque. Verify leak-free operation by pressurizing the system gradually after installation.
