The PARKER 62CA-2 is a brass compression tube union designed to join two lengths of tubing in a straight-line connection using compression fittings on both ends. This union provides a leak-resistant, vibration-tolerant joint rated for up to 2800 psi working pressure and a temperature range of -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Constructed from brass, the fitting is well suited for use in refrigeration, HVAC, pneumatic, and instrumentation tubing systems. It accepts tubing with a 1/8 inch outside diameter on each end. Licensed HVAC technicians, refrigeration mechanics, and instrumentation specialists are the primary installers of this type of fitting.
This compression union is used in residential and light commercial applications where a reliable, tool-assembled tube joint is required without brazing or soldering. Typical scenarios include refrigerant line repairs, pneumatic control tubing, and instrumentation runs where tube union access is needed for future serviceability. The compression-by-compression configuration allows both tube ends to be secured independently, making it practical for field repairs and panel assembly work alike.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit compression union for 1/8 inch OD tubing systems in HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatic, and instrumentation applications.
Compression fittings of this type are installed by licensed HVAC technicians, refrigeration mechanics, or instrumentation technicians. Before installation, de-energize the system and relieve all line pressure. Ensure tubing ends are cut squarely and deburred before inserting into the compression nut and ferrule assembly. Do not overtighten the compression nuts; follow the fitting manufacturer's assembly instructions for proper ferrule seating.
