The PARKER 61P-6 is a brass compression tube sleeve designed to form a leak-tight mechanical connection in compression fitting assemblies. The sleeve seats between the compression nut and fitting body, biting into the outer wall of the tube as the nut is tightened to create a reliable, pressure-rated seal. Rated to 150 psi working pressure and a temperature range of 0 to 150 degrees F, this sleeve is suited for low-to-medium pressure fluid and gas line applications. It is compatible with 3/8 inch outside diameter tubing and is installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters in both service and new-construction work.
This sleeve is used in residential and light commercial compression fitting assemblies where tubing must be connected to valves, fittings, or equipment without soldering or threading. Typical applications include water supply lines, refrigeration tubing connections, and instrumentation lines. The brass construction provides corrosion resistance suitable for water, air, and a range of compatible fluids. It is sold individually but carries a minimum order quantity of 5 units per purchase.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement sleeve for standard compression tube fitting assemblies using 3/8 inch outside diameter tubing.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off the fluid or gas supply and relieve system pressure before disassembling any fitting. Slide the sleeve onto the tubing before threading on the compression nut, and ensure the tube is cut square and deburred to achieve a proper seal. Do not over-tighten the compression nut, as this can deform the sleeve and compromise the seal.
