The PARKER 60VLV-3 is a Viton compression tube sleeve designed to create a reliable, leak-resistant seal in compression-style tube fittings. The sleeve seats between the compression nut and fitting body, biting into the tube OD to form a metal-to-metal and elastomeric seal without the need for thread sealant on the tube itself. Rated for a temperature range of -30 degrees F to 275 degrees F, this sleeve handles both low-temperature fluid lines and moderately elevated-temperature hydraulic or pneumatic applications. It meets ISO 6149 and SAE J1926 thread standards and is compatible with 3/16 inch outside diameter tubing. Installation is straightforward for any plumbing, HVAC, or fluid-power technician familiar with compression fitting assemblies.
This sleeve is suited for use in hydraulic, pneumatic, and general fluid-conveyance systems where a Viton elastomeric compression sleeve is required. Typical applications include instrumentation tubing lines, fuel and oil circuits, and refrigerant or chemical fluid circuits where Viton's chemical resistance is an asset. The 3/16 inch OD tube size makes it common in small-bore control and sensing lines found in both commercial and industrial equipment.
Designed for use with PARKER compression fitting bodies and nuts that accept 3/16 inch OD tubing and conform to ISO 6149 and SAE J1926 specifications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumbing, hydraulic, or fluid-power technician. Depressurize and drain the affected line completely before disassembling any fitting. Follow the fitting manufacturer's torque and assembly sequence — finger-tighten the nut first, then advance per the fitting body instructions, as overtightening a compression sleeve can deform the tube or crack the sleeve. Verify material compatibility between the Viton sleeve and the system fluid before installation.
