The PARKER 60VL-12 is a compression tube sleeve designed to form a leak-tight mechanical connection in fluid and pneumatic line assemblies. The sleeve fits over the outside diameter of tubing and, when the fitting nut is tightened, deforms slightly to bite into and grip the tube wall — creating a secure, pressure-rated seal without flare tooling. Made from Buna-N elastomer, the 60VL-12 is rated for service from -30 degrees F to 135 degrees C and is built to ISO 6149 and SAE J1926 standards. It is a standard repair and fabrication component used by plumbing, HVAC, and industrial maintenance technicians working on fluid transfer and hydraulic lines.
This sleeve is sized for tubing with a 3/4 inch outside diameter and is used wherever compression-style fittings are specified on NPTF-threaded assemblies. Typical applications include hydraulic lines, pneumatic systems, fuel lines, and general fluid transfer plumbing in both commercial and industrial settings. The Buna-N material provides resistance to petroleum-based fluids, oils, and moderate chemicals, making it suitable for a wide range of common service fluids. It is sold individually and is a direct replacement sleeve for compression fitting maintenance and field assembly.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement sleeve for use with NPTF compression fittings accepting 3/4 inch outside diameter tubing in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid transfer line assemblies.
Installation is performed by plumbers, pipefitters, or industrial maintenance technicians. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disassembling any compression fitting. Slide the sleeve onto the tube before threading the nut onto the fitting body, and ensure the tube is cut square and deburred for a proper seal. Follow applicable system pressure ratings and refer to ASME or SAE guidelines for torque and assembly practices.
