The PARKER 60PT-6 is a compression tube sleeve designed to create a secure, leak-resistant connection in compression-style tube fittings. Made from Delrin acetal resin, this sleeve seats against the tube OD and ferrule to form a tight mechanical seal when the fitting nut is torqued. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 200 psi and handles temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-systems mechanics install this type of sleeve in low-pressure tubing circuits where a reliable, non-metal compression component is required.
This sleeve is suited for residential and light commercial tubing applications involving 3/8 inch OD tube. It conforms to SAE J-512, making it a standard-compliant component for compression fitting assemblies used in fuel, refrigerant, or hydraulic tubing systems operating within its rated pressure and temperature limits. The Delrin construction resists corrosion and is appropriate for environments where metal sleeves are undesirable.
Designed as a standard SAE J-512 compression sleeve for use with 3/8 inch OD tube compression fitting assemblies.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Depressurize and drain the tubing circuit completely before disassembling any compression fitting. Slide the sleeve onto the tube before inserting it into the fitting body, and hand-tighten the nut before applying final torque with a wrench. Inspect the sleeve for cracks or deformation before reuse, as compression sleeves are generally intended for single installation.
