The PARKER 60PT-5 is a compression tube sleeve designed to create a secure, leak-resistant connection in compression tube fitting assemblies. Machined from Delrin, a high-performance acetal resin, this sleeve seats between the compression nut and fitting body to provide consistent bite and seal force on the tube OD. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 300 psi and handles temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a broad range of fluid and pneumatic line applications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians routinely work with this type of fitting component on instrumentation and service lines.
This sleeve is used wherever Parker-compatible compression fittings are installed on 5/16-inch OD tubing. Typical applications include low-pressure pneumatic lines, fluid transfer tubing, and instrumentation connections in both residential and light commercial settings. The SAE J-512 standard designation confirms the dimensional and performance requirements the sleeve is manufactured to meet. It is sold individually but carries a minimum order quantity of 5 pieces per order.
Designed as an OEM-style compression sleeve for use with Parker-compatible compression tube fittings on 5/16-inch OD tubing meeting SAE J-512 specifications.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or HVAC technicians. De-pressurize and isolate the line completely before disassembling any compression fitting. Ensure the tube end is cut square and deburred before seating the sleeve to avoid a compromised seal. Avoid over-tightening the compression nut, as excessive force can distort or crack the Delrin sleeve.
