The PARKER 60PT-10 is a compression tube sleeve designed to create a reliable, leak-resistant connection in compression tube fitting assemblies. Made from Delrin, a high-strength acetal resin, this sleeve seats firmly against the tube wall as the fitting nut is tightened, biting into the tubing to form a mechanical seal without threads or solder. It is rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. The sleeve conforms to SAE J-512 standards and is sized for 5/8 inch outside diameter tubing. It is typically installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and refrigeration mechanics working on fluid or low-pressure pneumatic lines.
This sleeve is suited for use in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems where compression-style tube connections are specified. It fits 5/8 inch OD tubing and is used in conjunction with a compression body and nut to complete the fitting assembly. Typical applications include water supply lines, instrument tubing, and low-pressure fluid transfer systems where a reusable, tool-assisted compression joint is appropriate.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service sleeve for 5/8 inch OD compression tube fitting assemblies conforming to SAE J-512.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Before service, shut off and depressurize the fluid line completely. The sleeve is positioned over the tubing end, followed by the compression nut; tightening the nut drives the sleeve into the tube to form the seal. Do not overtighten — excess torque can deform the Delrin sleeve and compromise the seal. Follow applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines for the system type being serviced.
