The PARKER 60PB-4 is a brass compression tube sleeve designed to create a secure, leak-resistant connection in compression fitting assemblies. The sleeve seats against the fitting body as the nut is tightened, forming a bite into the tubing wall to hold pressure. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure and rated for service between 0 and 150 degrees F, this sleeve suits a wide range of fluid and gas line applications in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and instrumentation systems. Brass construction provides corrosion resistance and dependable performance in moderate-temperature service. Licensed trades and journeyman plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers.
This sleeve is sized for 1/4 inch outside diameter tubing and is used with standard compression-style fittings in residential and light commercial installations. Typical applications include refrigerant gauge manifold connections, instrument tubing runs, fuel lines, water supply lines, and control tubing for pneumatic systems. The sleeve works in conjunction with a matching compression nut and fitting body to complete the assembly. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 5 pieces.

Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or instrumentation technicians depending on the application. Shut off and depressurize the line before disassembly or fitting installation. Slide the nut onto the tubing first, followed by the sleeve with the tapered end facing the fitting body, then insert the tubing fully into the fitting seat and tighten the nut by hand before applying a wrench — typically one and one-quarter turns past hand-tight for a new sleeve, but follow the fitting manufacturer's guidelines. Do not over-tighten, as over-compression can deform the sleeve and compromise the seal.
