The PARKER 60P-5 is a compression tube sleeve designed to create a secure, leak-resistant connection in compression fitting assemblies. Machined from POM acetal, this sleeve seats between the compression nut and fitting body to grip and seal tubing with an outside diameter of 5/16 inches. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 150 psi and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 150 degrees F. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid system installers use this sleeve as a core component in compression-style tube connections across a range of low- to medium-pressure applications.
This sleeve is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC, and pneumatic tubing systems where compression fittings are the specified connection type. It is commonly installed on copper, nylon, or compatible plastic tubing with a 5/16-inch outside diameter. The acetal construction performs well in systems carrying water, air, or non-aggressive fluids within the rated pressure and temperature envelope.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service component for compression fitting assemblies using 5/16-inch outside diameter tubing.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified HVAC technicians. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line before disassembling any compression fitting. Seat the sleeve squarely onto the tubing before threading the compression nut to avoid cross-threading or uneven bite. Follow applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines for the system type being serviced.
