The PARKER 60C-14 is a brass compression tube sleeve designed for use in compression-style tube fittings. This sleeve seats between the compression nut and fitting body to create a leak-resistant mechanical seal on tubing. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 75 psi and handles temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Manufactured to SAE J-512 standards, it is a standard component in fluid and gas line assemblies across HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and industrial applications. Installation is handled by licensed technicians or experienced tradespeople working with compression tubing systems.
This sleeve is suited for residential and light commercial applications where compression fittings are used to join or terminate tubing runs. Common install scenarios include refrigerant line connections, pneumatic lines, and hydraulic or fluid transfer systems operating within the rated pressure and temperature envelope. The SAE J-512 rating makes it appropriate for automotive and industrial fluid system applications as well.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement sleeve for compression tube fitting assemblies meeting SAE J-512 specifications.
This sleeve is installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, or pipefitters as part of a compression fitting assembly. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line before disassembly or installation. Use appropriate tube cutters and deburring tools to ensure a clean, square tubing end before seating the sleeve. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as this can deform the sleeve and compromise the seal.
