The PARKER 60C-12 is a brass compression tube sleeve designed to create a secure, leak-resistant joint in compression tube fittings. The sleeve seats between the compression nut and fitting body, biting into the tube wall when the nut is tightened to form a metal-to-metal seal. Built to SAE J-512 standards, it handles working pressures up to 100 psi and operates across a temperature range of -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Constructed from brass, it resists corrosion in a wide range of fluid and gas service applications. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters are the typical installers.
The 60C-12 sleeve fits 3/4 inch outside diameter tubing in compression-style tube fitting assemblies. It is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant and fluid lines, and instrumentation tubing where a reliable compression joint is required. The NPTF thread standard makes it compatible with standard North American compression fitting assemblies. Applications commonly include fuel, oil, water, and air lines operating within the rated pressure and temperature envelope.
Designed as an OEM-style compression sleeve for use with 3/4 inch OD tubing in SAE J-512 compression tube fitting assemblies.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or pipefitter. Shut off and depressurize the line before disassembling any fitting. Slide the sleeve onto the tube before threading the compression nut, then tighten the nut to the fitting body per the fitting manufacturer's instructions — do not overtighten, as brass sleeves can deform. Follow applicable IPC or IFGC requirements for the system type being serviced.
