The PARKER 6004N-0A2-SA is a sterile air compressed air filter designed to remove sub-micron contaminants from compressed air and gas streams. Rated at 0.01 micron, it delivers the high-purity filtration required in critical process, laboratory, and sanitary applications where downstream contamination is not acceptable. The filter features a stainless steel bowl and NPT end connections, making it suitable for corrosive or washdown environments. At 10 inches tall and 3 inches wide, it is sized for inline installation in industrial compressed air systems. A manual drain allows scheduled condensate removal. HVAC, process piping, and instrumentation technicians are the typical installers.
This filter is well suited for sterile air applications in pharmaceutical production, food and beverage processing, laboratory gas supply, and industrial process lines where microbial and particulate contamination must be controlled. The 1/2 inch NPT port size fits standard compressed air headers and branch lines commonly found in both light industrial and commercial facilities. The stainless steel bowl handles aggressive cleaning agents and meets hygiene requirements in regulated environments. Designed as an OEM-style inline compressed air filter for 1/2 inch NPT compressed air and process gas lines requiring sterile-grade, 0.01 micron filtration. Part of the Parker Series 6000 filter line.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, instrumentation technician, or qualified industrial mechanic. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before removing or installing the filter. NPT threaded connections should be made with appropriate thread sealant compatible with the process media. Verify that system operating pressure and temperature fall within the rated limits of the filter before returning the line to service.
