The PARKER 6 FNZ-B is a brass compression tube plug designed to seal the end of a compression-fitting tube line. It threads or seats into a standard compression fitting to cap off an unused port or terminate a tubing run. Built from brass meeting ASME-SB75 and ASTM-B75 standards, it carries a maximum working pressure of 2300 psi and measures 0.56 inches in overall length. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial piping contractors use this fitting when decommissioning a branch, capping a test port, or completing a system that will be extended later.
This plug is suited for residential and commercial applications wherever compression-style tube fittings are in use. Common install scenarios include copper tubing systems for refrigerant lines, instrumentation tubing, hydraulic lines, and plumbing distribution. Its compact 0.56-inch length fits into tight spaces where a bulkier plug would interfere with adjacent components. The brass construction makes it compatible with a wide range of fluid media handled in standard compression-fitting systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard compression tube plug for use in compression fitting systems sized to accept this plug. Cross-references to Swagelok part number B-600-P.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or instrumentation fitter. Depressurize and drain the tubing system fully before removing or installing any compression fitting or plug. Use an appropriate wrench to seat the compression ferrule without overtightening, which can deform the ferrule or crack the fitting body. Verify the system meets applicable pressure ratings and local code requirements before returning it to service.
