The PARKER 6 F5OLO-S is a compression tube straight thread connector engineered for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid power lines. It joins a 3/8-inch outside diameter tube to an SAE O-Ring Boss port using an O-Ring Face Seal end on the tube side and an SAE-ORB straight thread on the port side. Constructed from steel, it is rated for a maximum working pressure of 9200 psi, making it suitable for demanding hydraulic circuits. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and hydraulic system technicians install this fitting in industrial, mobile, and stationary hydraulic equipment where leak-free, high-integrity connections are required.
This connector is used wherever a compression tube line must terminate at an SAE-ORB boss port on a pump, valve, manifold, or cylinder. The ORFS end provides a metal-to-metal face seal supplemented by an O-ring, which virtually eliminates leak paths common with flare-style fittings. Typical applications include mobile construction equipment, agricultural machinery, industrial power units, and other systems that specify SAE J1453 ORFS connections or SAE J1926 straight thread O-ring bosses. The 9/16-18 UNF thread size is a standard dimension common in mid-range hydraulic plumbing.
Designed as a direct-fit connector for hydraulic systems using SAE J1453 O-Ring Face Seal tube ends and SAE J1926 O-Ring Boss straight thread ports with a 9/16-18 UNF thread and 3/8-inch OD tubing.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or pipefitter. Depressurize and bleed the hydraulic circuit fully before removing or installing any fitting. Inspect the O-ring sealing surfaces for nicks or contamination before assembly and replace the O-ring if any damage is present. Torque to the fitting and port manufacturer specifications using calibrated tooling; do not use PTFE tape or pipe sealant on ORFS or SAE-ORB threads.
