The PARKER 6-6 CBZ-B is a 90-degree compression tube male elbow fitting designed for connecting tubing to male NPT threaded ports in fluid and gas distribution systems. Machined from brass per ASTM-B-124 and BS2872 standards, it provides a rated maximum working pressure of 2300 psi. The compression end accepts standard tubing and creates a leak-resistant mechanical seal without soldering or brazing. The male NPT end threads directly into female pipe ports. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation technicians in both residential and light commercial applications.
This fitting is suited for tubing-to-pipe transitions in refrigeration lines, compressed air distribution, hydraulic instrumentation, and general fluid handling systems. The 90-degree elbow geometry allows routing in tight spaces where straight fittings cannot make a clean directional change. It is appropriate for systems where vibration or frequent assembly and disassembly are not primary concerns, and where a permanent, pressure-rated mechanical connection is required.
Designed as an OEM-style compression-to-MNPT elbow fitting for use in plumbing, HVAC, and instrumentation systems that require a 3/8 inch male NPT port connection with a compression tube inlet.
This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers or HVAC technicians. Shut off system pressure and depressurize lines completely before disassembling or installing any compression fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut first, then apply an additional one-quarter to one-half turn with a wrench — do not overtighten, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male NPT threads per standard plumbing practice and applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines.
