The PARKER 6-4 CBZ-SS is a compression tube male elbow fitting machined from stainless steel. It connects a compression tube end to a male NPT threaded port, making a 90-degree direction change in a fluid or gas line. The 1/4-inch thread size and Compression x MNPT end configuration suit high-pressure instrumentation, pneumatic, and process tubing runs. With a maximum working pressure of 6600 psi, this fitting is built for demanding service in environments where corrosion resistance and leak-free performance are required. This fitting is used in residential and commercial applications where stainless steel is specified for corrosion resistance or cleanliness requirements. Common install scenarios include instrument tubing panels, refrigeration and HVAC copper or stainless tube runs, hydraulic control lines, and process piping where an NPT port transitions to a compression tube connection. Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or instrumentation mechanic. Hand-tighten the compression nut first, then advance with a wrench per standard compression fitting practice — do not overtighten, as stainless ferrules can seize or crack tubing. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male NPT threads in accordance with applicable IPC or IFGC requirements for the fluid or gas being handled.
