The PARKER 5FEL2N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube female elbow designed to connect a compression tube end to a female NPT threaded port at a 90-degree angle. The fitting transitions between a compression-style tube connection and a 1/8-27 FNPT threaded fitting, making it suitable for instrumentation, process, and fluid-control systems that require a reliable, leak-resistant directional change. Rated to 8100 psi maximum working pressure and capable of handling temperatures from -425 degrees F to 1200 degrees F, this elbow is built for demanding applications including cryogenic, high-pressure, and high-temperature service. It weighs approximately 0.107 pounds and ships in a quantity of one.
This fitting is commonly used in industrial instrumentation lines, pneumatic control circuits, hydraulic systems, and process piping where a tube run must change direction and connect to a female NPT port. Its stainless steel construction resists corrosion and makes it appropriate for aggressive media, cleanroom environments, offshore installations, and food-grade or chemical processing lines. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers in both commercial and industrial settings.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube female elbow fitting for instrumentation and process systems using 1/8-27 NPT threaded female ports with a matching compression tube connection.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or instrumentation technician following applicable ASME, IFGC, or facility-specific pressure piping codes. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut first, then use the appropriate open-end or tube-fitting wrench to achieve proper seating without overtightening the ferrule. Do not reuse ferrules after the compression fitting has been fully set.
