The PARKER 4Z-PR4-VT-SS is a 1/4 inch inline instrumentation plug valve rated for 3,000 psi WOG service. It is built from 316 stainless steel with a Viton seal and features compression x compression CPI end connections. The wedge handle design allows positive shutoff in a compact, one-way inline configuration. This valve is engineered for high-pressure instrumentation lines where corrosion resistance and reliable isolation are required. Instrumentation fitters and process technicians install this valve in analytical, sampling, and control tubing systems that demand precise flow shutoff and leak-free performance under elevated pressures.
This plug valve is suited for use in industrial instrumentation and process control applications, including chemical processing, oil and gas sampling lines, and high-pressure analytical systems. The 316 stainless steel body resists a wide range of corrosive media, making it appropriate for both aggressive process fluids and inert gas service. CPI compression fittings allow tool-based, repeatable connections to standard instrumentation tubing without welding or threading. It is applicable in both indoor and outdoor installations where process pressures reach up to 3,000 psi WOG.
Designed as an OEM-style instrumentation plug valve for 1/4 inch compression CPI tubing systems operating at up to 3,000 psi WOG in process control, analytical, and high-pressure sampling line applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified instrumentation fitter or process piping technician. Depressurize and isolate the affected line completely before removing or installing the valve. CPI compression connections require proper tube preparation and correct ferrule seating per the fitting manufacturer instructions. Verify system compatibility with Viton seals before installing in contact with aggressive solvents or highly oxidizing media.
