The PARKER 4Z-C4L-1-BN-B is an inline check valve designed to allow one-directional fluid or gas flow while preventing backflow in pressurized systems. Built with a brass body and nitrile rubber seal, it handles working pressures up to 3000 psi and opens at a crack pressure of 1.00 psi. The compression x compression end connections accept 0.25-inch tubing on both sides, making installation straightforward without soldering or threading. A stainless steel spring ensures consistent seating force over the service life of the valve. Plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial technicians install this type of valve in hydraulic, pneumatic, water, oil, and gas service lines where reverse flow must be stopped.
This valve is suited for inline installations in residential and light commercial plumbing, compressed air distribution, hydraulic circuits, and fluid control applications where a 0.25-inch compression fitting is already in use. Its compact form factor makes it practical in tight spaces or panel-mounted assemblies. The 3000 psi maximum working pressure rating qualifies it for higher-pressure service runs where standard low-pressure check valves would be insufficient.
Designed as an OEM-style inline check valve for 0.25-inch compression tubing systems operating within the rated pressure and temperature limits of the brass body and nitrile seal materials.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified technician. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing fitting or valve. Observe the flow-direction arrow marked on the valve body to ensure correct orientation in the line. Compression fittings must be tightened to the fitting manufacturer's specified procedure using appropriate tubing inserts where required by the tubing material.
