The PARKER 4MSC2N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to join tubing to a male NPT threaded port. It transitions from a compression-style tube end to a 1/8-27 MNPT threaded connection in a single fitting body. Rated to 10,300 psi maximum working pressure, it is built for demanding fluid and gas service across a wide temperature range from -425 degrees F to 1,200 degrees F. The 316 stainless steel construction resists corrosion in aggressive media. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this fitting in high-pressure tubing systems where a secure, leak-tight transition between tube and NPT pipe thread is required.
This connector is suited for instrumentation, process control, hydraulic, and pneumatic tubing systems in both industrial and commercial applications. The compression end grips and seals the tube mechanically without welding or soldering, making it well-suited for field installation and maintenance on high-pressure lines. Its stainless steel body makes it appropriate for corrosive fluid service, clean steam, and cryogenic applications given its rated minimum temperature of -425 degrees F.
Designed as an OEM-style compression-to-MNPT connector for instrumentation and process tubing systems using 1/8-27 NPT threaded ports.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician familiar with high-pressure tubing systems. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disassembly or fitting installation. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the tube before applying the manufacturer-recommended number of additional turns with a wrench — do not overtighten, as stainless fittings are susceptible to galling. Apply an appropriate thread sealant to the MNPT threads per the system fluid compatibility requirements and local applicable codes.
