The PARKER 4MBC6N-B is a brass compression tube bulkhead connector designed to pass a tubing line through a panel or bulkhead wall while maintaining a secure, leak-resistant seal. The fitting accepts 1/4-inch outside diameter tubing on the compression end and connects to a male NPT port on the threaded end with a 3/8-inch thread. Rated to 3500 psi maximum working pressure, this connector is suited for high-pressure fluid and gas line applications. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and refrigeration mechanics where panel penetrations require a compact, all-brass single-piece fitting.
This bulkhead connector is used in residential and commercial applications where copper or compatible soft tubing must pass through a cabinet wall, equipment enclosure, or mounting panel. Typical install scenarios include refrigeration equipment, compressed air distribution lines, hydraulic panels, and instrumentation tubing systems. The compression-by-MNPT configuration allows one side to connect directly to a male NPT port on equipment while the compression end grips the tube mechanically without soldering or brazing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install brass bulkhead compression fitting for systems using 1/4-inch OD tubing with a 3/8-inch male NPT port. Cross-reference: Swagelok part number B-400-11-6.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or refrigeration mechanic. Shut off and depressurize the system fully before removing or installing any compression fittings. Ensure the tube end is cut cleanly and squarely and is free of burrs before inserting into the compression end. Apply thread sealant to the MNPT threads in accordance with applicable codes and the fluid or gas service being used; do not overtighten the compression nut.
