The PARKER 4MBC6N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube bulkhead connector designed to pass tubing through a panel or bulkhead wall while maintaining a secure, leak-resistant seal. It features a compression inlet connection on one side and a male NPT thread on the other, allowing techs to transition from tube to threaded pipe in a single fitting. Rated to 10,300 psi maximum working pressure and capable of handling temperatures from -425 degrees F to 1,200 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding fluid and gas system applications where material integrity under pressure and temperature extremes is required.
This bulkhead connector is suited for use in high-pressure hydraulic lines, instrumentation tubing, and industrial process systems where tubing must pass through a panel or enclosure wall. The 316 stainless steel construction makes it a reliable choice in corrosive environments, including chemical processing, offshore, and refrigeration-adjacent applications. It is installed by pipefitters, instrumentation technicians, and mechanical contractors working on tube-and-fitting systems that require a clean panel passthrough with an NPT port interface.
Designed as an OEM-style compression bulkhead fitting for instrumentation, hydraulic, and process tubing systems using 3/8-18 NPT threaded connections.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or instrumentation technician familiar with compression tube fitting assembly. De-pressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure tubing is cut square, deburred, and fully seated in the compression body before tightening the nut. Follow applicable codes such as ASME B31.3 for process piping when selecting and installing high-pressure fittings.
