The PARKER 4M-C4L-1-BN-B is a brass inline check valve designed to allow one-directional flow while preventing backflow in fluid and pneumatic systems. Built with a 1/4-inch MNPT x MNPT connection, it threads directly into standard NPT ports without adapters. The valve opens at a crack pressure of 1.00 psi and is rated for a maximum working pressure of 3000 psi, making it suitable for demanding hydraulic, pneumatic, and process piping applications. Nitrile rubber seals provide reliable seating across a broad range of media. Plumbers, pipefitters, and fluid-system technicians typically install this valve in-line wherever reverse flow protection is required.
This check valve is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, hydraulic circuits, compressed air lines, and general industrial process systems. Its MNPT x MNPT end connections allow straightforward integration into existing threaded pipe runs sized at 1/4 inch. The stainless steel spring ensures consistent cracking performance and corrosion resistance within the valve body. It is a compact, single-piece inline design that installs in space-constrained manifold or panel configurations common in HVAC, refrigeration, and fluid-transfer applications.
Designed as an OEM-style inline check valve for 1/4-inch NPT threaded pipe systems in hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and process piping applications.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified fluid-system technician. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing valve or fitting. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads in accordance with the applicable plumbing or mechanical code before torquing into place. Verify flow direction arrow or spring orientation against system flow direction before pressurizing the system.
