The PARKER 4FSC8N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to join tubing to female NPT threaded ports in fluid and gas systems. It transitions from a compression-style tube end to a 1/2-14 FNPT threaded connection, providing a reliable, leak-resistant joint without welding or brazing. The 316 stainless steel construction supports extreme service conditions, with a maximum working pressure of 10,300 psi and a temperature range from -425 degrees F to 1,200 degrees F. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this fitting in high-pressure or corrosive-environment applications where standard brass fittings are not suitable.
This connector is suited for use in industrial process lines, instrumentation tubing runs, hydraulic systems, and chemical or cryogenic service where both high pressure and wide temperature swings are expected. Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician in accordance with applicable codes such as ASME B31.3 for process piping. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure tubing is cut square and fully deburred before seating it into the compression fitting body, and tighten the compression nut to the fitting manufacturer's recommended procedure to achieve a proper ferrule bite. Do not overtighten, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
