The PARKER 4FEL8N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube female elbow fitting designed to connect compression tubing to a female NPT-threaded port at a 90-degree angle. It carries a 1/2-14 NPT thread size with Compression x FNPT end connections. Rated for a maximum working pressure of 10,300 psi and a temperature range of -425 degrees F to 1,200 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding fluid and gas system applications. The 316 stainless steel construction provides strong resistance to corrosion and high-stress service conditions. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the typical installers of this type of component.
This fitting is suited for use in high-pressure tubing systems found in industrial, instrumentation, hydraulic, and process piping applications. Its wide temperature range makes it appropriate for cryogenic service as well as elevated-temperature process lines. The Compression x FNPT configuration allows a direct inline transition from a compression tube run to a female NPT port on a valve, manifold, or instrument body. It is sold individually and is a direct fit wherever a 1/2-14 NPT female elbow compression connection is required.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube fitting for use in high-pressure instrumentation and process piping systems requiring a 1/2-14 NPT female elbow with Compression x FNPT end connections.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed pipefitter or instrumentation technician. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the tube, then advance with a wrench per standard compression fitting practice — do not overtighten. Verify thread engagement and pressure integrity before returning the system to service.
