The PARKER 4A-V4LN-SS is a straight-pattern needle valve designed for precise flow control in high-pressure fluid and gas systems. Built with a 316 stainless steel body and a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seal, it handles working pressures up to 5,000 psi while resisting corrosion and chemical attack. The round handle provides manual flow adjustment, and the compression-end configuration accepts 1/4-inch pipe connections. At 2.3 inches overall length and 3.06 inches overall height, this is a compact valve suited for tight installations. It is typically installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, or instrumentation specialists working with hydraulic, pneumatic, or process-fluid lines.
This valve is well-suited for residential and commercial applications where precise throttling or shutoff is required in corrosive or high-purity environments. Typical install scenarios include instrument tubing runs, chemical feed lines, refrigeration or compressed-air systems, and hydraulic test equipment. The stainless steel body and PTFE seal make it appropriate for use with aggressive media where brass or carbon steel valves would be unsuitable.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation needle valve for 1/4-inch compression-end piping systems requiring stainless steel construction and PTFE sealing.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician in accordance with applicable codes such as ASME B31.3 for process piping. Always depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing an existing valve or installing this unit. Confirm that the compression fitting is properly seated and that the connection is leak-tested at system pressure before returning the line to service. Do not exceed the 5,000 psi maximum working pressure rating under any operating condition.
