The PARKER 43F-8-10 is a brass flare-to-solder tube fitting designed for use in refrigeration, HVAC, and fluid-system piping where a 45-degree SAE flare connection must transition to a soldered copper tube end. Machined from brass, it accepts a 1/2 inch tube OD on the flare end with a 3/4-16 UNF thread and connects to a 5/8 inch reduced outside diameter solder cup on the opposite end. Rated to 750 psi maximum working pressure and 250 degrees F, this fitting handles the demanding conditions found in refrigerant lines, hydraulic-assist circuits, and compressed-gas distribution systems. It is installed by HVAC technicians, refrigeration mechanics, and licensed plumbers during new construction and service work.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC and refrigeration applications where a flared tube line must tie into a sweated copper assembly. The solder cup end must be cleaned, fluxed, and sweated using accepted copper-brazing or soldering practices in accordance with applicable mechanical codes.
