The PARKER 41fs-10 is a brass 45-degree flare fitting designed for use in fluid and gas handling systems across a wide range of industrial and mechanical applications. It features a 5/8-inch tube outside diameter connection with a 7/8-14 inch thread size and a short extruded nut design. The body and nut are both constructed from brass, providing corrosion resistance and reliable sealing in high-cycle service. This fitting is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 650 psi and handles temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial pipefitters are the typical trades working with this component.
This fitting is suited for residential and commercial installations where a 45-degree flare connection is required. Compatible media includes water, air, inert and non-combustible gases, flammable liquids, and Freon refrigerants. Common applications include refrigerant lines, natural gas and propane supply lines, fuel systems, pumps, gas grills, and coffee makers. The flare-style connection is compatible with copper, aluminum, brass, and welded steel hydraulic tubing that can be flared to SAE specifications.
Designed for use with copper, aluminum, brass, and welded steel hydraulic tubing that can be flared. Compatible media include water, air, inert and non-combustible gases, flammable liquids, and Freon. Suitable for refrigerant lines, natural gas, propane, fuel, and pump applications per SAE J512 and SAE J513 standards.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or plumber familiar with flare-type fittings and applicable codes. Shut off all fluid or gas supply and depressurize the line before beginning work. Use a proper flaring tool to prepare tubing ends to the correct 45-degree flare angle before assembly. Do not overtighten; follow standard trade practice for brass flare fittings to avoid deforming the flare seat.
