The PARKER 4 RBU-S is a flareless bite-type tube male run tee designed for high-pressure hydraulic and instrumentation tubing systems. Machined from steel, this fitting accepts 1/4 inch tube OD on the bite-type ports and connects to a male 1/8 inch NPTF threaded port on the run branch. The 24-degree flare angle and bite-type sleeve design create a secure, leak-resistant connection without requiring tube flaring. Rated to 5,000 psi maximum working pressure, the fitting measures 1.56 inches overall length. It is installed by hydraulic technicians and instrumentation fitters working on fluid power lines, pneumatic circuits, and process tubing assemblies.
This fitting is suited for industrial and mobile hydraulic applications where a tee branch must transition from tubing to an NPT-threaded port without flaring the tube end. Typical installations include hydraulic manifold branches, instrumentation lines, and high-pressure fluid control circuits in both stationary and mobile equipment. The male run tee configuration allows the main tube run to pass through while the branch connects to a threaded port on a valve body, manifold, or instrument.

Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or pipefitter. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic or fluid circuit completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure tube ends are cut squarely and deburred before inserting into the bite-type sleeve to achieve proper sleeve bite and a leak-free seal. NPTF threads are self-sealing by thread form; follow applicable fluid power standards for thread engagement and do not overtighten, as steel fittings can crack if torqued excessively.
