The PARKER 4 KBZ-SS is a stainless steel compression tube union designed to join two compression-end tube lines in a single inline fitting. It creates a leak-resistant, metal-to-metal sealed connection rated to 10300 psi maximum working pressure. The all-compression end connections on both sides eliminate the need for welding or soldering, making installation faster and repeatable. This fitting is used in high-pressure fluid and gas distribution systems where corrosion resistance and pressure integrity are both critical requirements. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers.
The 4 KBZ-SS is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, hydraulic instrumentation lines, pneumatic control circuits, and process piping applications where stainless steel is specified for corrosion resistance or sanitary requirements. Its all-compression design makes it appropriate for tubing runs that may require periodic service or disassembly without cutting and re-flaring. The fitting is sold individually and is compatible with standard compression tube sizes corresponding to the Parker KBZ series designation.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter following applicable IPC or facility piping codes. Shut off and depressurize the line completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Use the correct tube OD and ensure tubing ends are cut square and deburred before seating the ferrule. Do not overtighten compression nuts, as stainless ferrules can gall; hand-tighten then advance with a wrench per the fitting manufacturer standard procedure.
