The PARKER 4-8 CBZ-SS is a compression tube male elbow fitting designed to connect tubing to a male NPT threaded port at a 90-degree angle. Constructed from stainless steel, this fitting handles a maximum working pressure of 10,300 psi, making it well suited for high-pressure fluid and instrumentation systems. The compression end provides a leak-resistant mechanical connection without soldering or welding, while the 1/2-inch MNPT end threads directly into standard pipe fittings, manifolds, or equipment ports. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this fitting in process lines, hydraulic circuits, and other demanding fluid-handling applications.
This fitting is used in residential and commercial plumbing, industrial process piping, HVAC refrigerant and fluid lines, and instrumentation tubing runs where a reliable directional change is required. The compression-by-MNPT configuration makes it a common choice when transitioning from tubing to threaded pipe in tight spaces or panel-mounted assemblies. Its stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for corrosive environments, potable water systems, and applications requiring repeated service access.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube male elbow for use in systems requiring a 1/2-inch MNPT threaded connection paired with a compression tube end in stainless steel construction.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified pipefitters following applicable IPC or facility piping codes. Shut off and depressurize the line completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Use the correct tubing size and ensure tubing ends are cut square and deburred before seating in the compression sleeve to achieve a proper seal. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
