The PARKER 4-6 FBZ-SS is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to join tubing to a male NPT threaded port in a single, leak-resistant fitting. It accepts a 3/8-inch compression end on one side and connects to a 3/8-inch MNPT fitting on the other, making it a direct in-line solution for tube-to-pipe transitions. Rated to a maximum working pressure of 10,300 psi, this connector is suited for high-pressure fluid and gas line applications. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion in harsh service environments. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this type of fitting in both industrial and commercial systems.
This compression-to-MNPT connector is commonly used in hydraulic lines, instrumentation tubing runs, and high-pressure fluid distribution systems where a reliable metal-to-metal compression seal is required. It is appropriate for both new installations and replacement work in commercial and industrial settings where stainless steel fittings are specified for corrosion resistance or elevated-pressure service. The compression end eliminates the need for soldering or flaring at the tube connection point.
Designed as a standard compression-to-MNPT connector for use with 3/8-inch OD tubing systems terminating at a 3/8-inch male NPT port in high-pressure fluid and instrumentation line applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or instrumentation technician. Shut off and depressurize the line completely before removing any existing fittings or making new connections. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the MNPT threads per the system requirements and applicable plumbing codes. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as excessive force can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
