The PARKER 4-6 DBZ-SS is a compression tube female elbow fitting designed to create a leak-tight, 90-degree directional change in tubing runs where a female NPT port connection is required. Constructed from stainless steel to ASTM-B-124 and BS2872 material standards, this fitting is built for demanding fluid and gas handling applications where corrosion resistance is critical. It handles a maximum working pressure of 10,300 psi, making it suitable for high-pressure instrumentation, hydraulic, and process lines. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this fitting in systems requiring reliable tube-to-threaded-port transitions.
This elbow is applied in residential and commercial plumbing, industrial process piping, and instrumentation tubing systems where a directional change from a compression tube line to a female NPT threaded port is needed. The stainless steel construction makes it a common choice for corrosive media environments, offshore, chemical processing, and food-grade installations. The compression-by-FNPT end connection configuration allows direct integration with tubing on one end and a male NPT threaded component on the other.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube fitting for use in high-pressure instrumentation, process, and plumbing systems utilizing 3/8 inch female NPT threaded ports and compatible compression tubing.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fitting assembly procedures. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Compression fittings require proper tube preparation including clean square cuts and deburring to ensure a leak-free seal. Follow applicable IPC and ASME B31 piping codes for pressure rating and installation requirements.
