The PARKER 4-6 CLO-S is a compression tube male elbow fitting designed for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid power plumbing. It connects a 1/4-inch OD tube to a 3/8-18 NPTF male threaded port using an O-Ring Face Seal (ORFS) tube-end connection. The zinc-plated steel construction provides corrosion resistance in demanding service environments. Rated to 6000 psi maximum working pressure, this fitting is suited for high-pressure lines where leak-free performance at threaded connections is required. This elbow fitting is used where a 90-degree directional change is needed between a compression tube line and an NPTF-threaded port. Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, hydraulic technician, or licensed plumber familiar with high-pressure fluid systems. Depressurize and drain the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Inspect the O-ring sealing surface and the NPTF threads for damage before assembly, and apply thread sealant to NPTF threads per manufacturer and applicable fluid power system guidelines. Follow ASME, ANSI, and applicable hydraulic system codes for pressure ratings and fitting torque procedures.
