The PARKER 4-4 CBZ-SS is a compression tube male elbow fitting designed to connect tubing to a male NPT threaded port at a 90-degree angle. Constructed from stainless steel, this fitting delivers a secure, leak-resistant seal through a compression-style end connection. It carries a maximum working pressure rating of 10,300 psi, making it appropriate for high-pressure fluid and gas lines found in HVAC, refrigeration, instrumentation, and plumbing systems. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation technicians install this fitting where a directional change is needed between a compression tube run and an MNPT port.
This fitting is suited for both residential and commercial applications where stainless steel corrosion resistance is required. Typical use cases include instrument tubing connections, hydraulic lines, refrigerant or oil lines, and compressed-air plumbing. The compression-by-MNPT configuration allows direct connection to male pipe-threaded ports without additional adapters. Its stainless steel body makes it a sound choice in environments exposed to moisture, chemicals, or elevated temperatures where brass or carbon steel fittings would be inappropriate.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube male elbow for use in high-pressure fluid, gas, and instrumentation lines requiring a 1/4 inch MNPT connection and a compression tube end.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or instrumentation technician following applicable codes such as ASME B31.1 or IFGC requirements for the system type. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing fitting or installing this elbow. Compression fittings require proper tube preparation including a clean, square cut and a deburred tube end for a reliable seal. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as stainless steel fittings are sensitive to galling during assembly.
