The PARKER 3FSC2N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to join tubing to female NPT threaded ports in high-pressure and extreme-temperature fluid and gas systems. It features a compression end on one side and a female NPT (FNPT) end on the other, with a 1/8-27 NPT thread size. Rated to 10,300 psi maximum working pressure and capable of handling temperatures from -425 degrees F to 1,200 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding industrial, instrumentation, and mechanical service applications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers.
This connector is suited for tubing runs in instrumentation, process control, refrigeration, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems where a reliable compression-to-FNPT transition is required. The 3/16-inch tube outside diameter compatibility makes it appropriate for small-bore tubing applications. Designed as an OEM-style compression fitting for small-bore tubing systems using 3/16-inch outside diameter tubing and 1/8-27 NPT female threaded ports.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fitting assembly procedures. Shut down and depressurize the system fully before removing or installing any fittings. Follow applicable codes including ASME B31.1 or B31.3 for pressure piping when applicable. Do not over-tighten the compression nut, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
