The PARKER 3B-6004N-0A1 is a sterile air compressed air filter designed to remove submicron contaminants from compressed air and gas streams in critical process and sanitary applications. Rated at 0.01 micron, this filter delivers high-efficiency particulate removal suitable for pharmaceutical, food processing, laboratory, and industrial environments where air purity is essential. The unit features a stainless steel bowl and an automatic drain, reducing manual maintenance intervals. Port size is 1/2 inch NPT with NPT end connections, making integration into existing compressed air lines straightforward for qualified service technicians and pipefitters.
This filter is suited for compressed air systems requiring sterile or near-sterile air quality downstream of the compressor. Typical applications include instrument air lines, bioreactor supply air, cleanroom air feeds, and process gas filtration in facilities where microbial or particulate contamination cannot be tolerated. The Series 6000 design supports both new installations and replacement service on existing compressed air distribution systems. Installation is performed by licensed pipefitters, instrumentation technicians, or mechanical contractors familiar with compressed air piping standards.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install filter for compressed air systems requiring 0.01 micron sterile air filtration with 1/2 inch NPT inlet and outlet connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter or qualified instrumentation technician in accordance with applicable compressed air system codes. Depressurize and isolate the compressed air line fully before removing any existing filter or installing this unit. Use appropriate thread sealant rated for compressed air service on all NPT connections and verify for leaks before returning the system to operating pressure. Do not exceed the rated pressure or flow specifications for this filter series.
