The PARKER 38890614 is a push-to-connect tube fitting with a male NPT center connection, designed for inline tube-to-tube runs requiring a threaded branch or port. It accepts tube connections on both ends and a male NPT thread at the center, allowing a technician to tap into a tubing line without cutting or flaring. Constructed from stainless steel and rated to 290 psi maximum working pressure, this fitting is built for demanding fluid and pneumatic systems where corrosion resistance matters. An FKM O-ring provides the primary seal at the push-to-connect interfaces. This fitting is typically installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or industrial pipefitters working on compressed-air, refrigerant-adjacent, or fluid-transfer lines.
This fitting suits applications in commercial and light industrial environments where stainless steel is required for corrosion resistance or sanitary reasons. The push-to-connect ends accept 6 mm outside-diameter tubing, making it well suited for metric tubing runs common in pneumatic controls, HVAC instrumentation lines, and process fluid systems. The male NPT thread allows direct connection to NPT-ported valves, gauges, or manifolds. Each package contains 2 fittings.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for pneumatic and fluid-transfer tubing systems using 6 mm OD tubing with 1/4 inch NPT ported equipment.
Depressurize and de-energize the system completely before removing or installing any push-to-connect fittings. Ensure tubing ends are cut square and free of burrs before insertion to achieve a proper seal at the FKM O-ring. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the service medium to the male NPT threads per IPC or IFGC guidelines as applicable. Do not exceed the rated working pressure of 290 psi in service.
